Community Outreach & Food Distribution: Serving with Compassion
Community outreach is at the heart of our mission. Through food distribution and community-based initiatives, we serve individuals and families facing food insecurity by providing essential resources, encouragement, and hope. Our approach is rooted in dignity, compassion, and consistent care for those in need.
Through The Potter’s House community impact efforts—including our partnership with local organizations such as The StewPot—more than 9,000 individuals experiencing poverty or homelessness received essential care, meals, and supportive services over the past year. These efforts help meet immediate needs while offering stability, compassion, and connection to ongoing support.
In addition, through United MegaCare’s community outreach, pantry programs, and homeless initiatives, we served more than 400,000 individuals with food, essential supplies, and crisis support. As part of these efforts, $50,000 in SNAP grocery gift cards were distributed to qualifying households to help offset food insecurity and provide timely assistance.
This work is made possible through the generosity of our partners and the dedication of volunteers who faithfully serve our communities. Every outreach opportunity represents more than a meal or resource—it is an expression of care, dignity, and hope for individuals and families navigating challenging seasons.
As we continue this work, we remain committed to expanding our reach, strengthening communities, and ensuring that no one feels unseen or unsupported.
